SOFTBALL: Warriors Pile On, Topple Rams

Havre de Grace improved to 2-1.

Hayley Kitts threw five innings, allowing one unearned run on two hits. She struck out seven. She was perfect through three innings of work and faced just three over the minimum in the blowout win.

Havre de Grace had 13 hits, led by three each from Emily Lewis and Riley Arnold.

Arnold was 3-for-4 with a triple, three RBIs and three runs scored. She also reached on an error.

Lewis was 3-for-5 with two RBIs and a run.

Rebecca Ashman singled, drove in a run, scored three times and added a stolen base.

Kaitlyn Husfelt and Kayla Vaughan each singled, scored and drove in a run. Vaughan added a walk. Dana Teufer walked and scored.

For all the offense, the Warriors struck out just twice, and stranded 10 runners on base.
