Parked GMC Envoy Found On Fire By Owner, State Fire Marshal Investigating

The Maryland State Fire Marshal's Office is investigating a fire that burned a GMC Envoy parked in a driveway Tuesday morning.

Firefighters with the Susquehanna Hose Company were called to a home located in the 2000 block of Lori Lane around 8:37 a.m. May 13. A 2004 GMC Envoy was on fire, which investigators believe started in the passenger side compartment.

HAVRE DE GRACE, MD — A vehicle caught on fire Tuesday morning while sitting in the driveway of a Havre de Grace home.

Firefighters with the Susquehanna Hose Company were called to the home located in the 2000 block of Lori Lane around 8:37 a.m. May 13. A 2004 GMC Envoy was on fire, which investigators believe started in the passenger side compartment. Firefighters spent 15 minutes working on the fire, which was discovered by the owner. Estimated loss has been listed as $2,500 by the fire company. The fire remains under investigation by the Maryland State Office of the Fire Marshal.
