In Havre de Grace, the Ontario-Otsego Positive Action Committee (OPAC) will host its neighborhood get-together from 7 to 9 p.m. The 600 block of Ontario Street will be closed to traffic during the event.
An email from OPAC leaders read: "The original purpose was to spread awareness of ongoing anti-crime efforts in our nation’s cities. However, the OPAC group has expanded this event into a general 'getting to know your neighbors occasion.' Folks are hoping that everybody will turn on their porch lights and meander around their little section of Havre de Grace. Usually, city officials and police officers stop and share concerns and issues."
