Victims Hospitalized In Tydings Bridge Crash: Officials

A crash on Interstate 95 along the Tydings Bridge sent multiple people to the hospital Thursday night, officials said.

A crash snarled traffic Thursday night around the Tydings Bridge in Harford County for about an hour.

Two vehicles collided after 9 p.m., according to the Coordinated Highways Action Response Team (CHART). The crash happened on Interstate 95 north along the bridge, which connects Harford and Cecil counties.

Multiple people were injured, according to the Susquehanna Hose Company, which responded to the crash along with fellow emergency personnel from Havre de Grace and Perryville.

The victims were taken to Christiana Hospital by the Havre de Grace Ambulance Corps and Union Hospital by the Community Fire Company of Perryville, officials said.

Traffic was backed up toward MD 155 as of 9:45 p.m., with vehicles getting by in the left lane and left shoulder on I-95 north; the right lanes and right shoulder were closed.

All lanes had reopened, authorities said around 10:15 p.m.
