HAVRE DE GRACE, MD — Harford County animal control officers received a report Thursday of three puppies that appeared to have been abandoned in the woods.

When officers arrived in the 900 block of Country Club Road in Havre de Grace, they found the yellow Labrador puppies. They appear to be five months old and in good health. The puppies were taken to The Humane Society of Harford County and an investigation has been launched into the situation.

The HSHC stated on its Facebook page that the puppies are on a stray hold and must be vaccinated and medically cleared by a veterinarian before they can be adopted. They expect the puppies to be ready for visits by potential adopters sometime next week.
