Harford County Business Offers Homemade Candles, Body Products

HAVRE DE GRACE, MD — For homemade candles, sprays, body products and more, look no further than Yours Home & Body in Havre de Grace.

Owner Sabrina Howard started her business in 2014. She told Patch that she loves working with her hands and decided to start making her own candles to give as gifts.

"My friends and family encouraged me to start a business. So I did candles and that turned into sprays. Sprays turned to body products and the rest is history," Howard told Patch.

Her body product line not only includes butters and scrubs, but Howard also makes melts and oils for sale.

"Candles and butters are my top sellers because everyone loves candles, and my butters because everyone needs butters," Howard said.

Howard's customers love that she provides "quality, simple ingredients at affordable prices." Most of her customers are women ages 18 to 50, she added.

"All products are all natural and organic, when possible, and are made in small batches," Howard told Patch.

She also loves being based out of Havre de Grace, because it's a "beautiful, charming town."

"I love that I can take a quick drive to the water. Everyone here is so friendly and welcoming. It's truly a gem," Howard said.
