County Animal Shelter Hosts Festival, Rabies Clinic

Pets will also be available for adoption.

The Baltimore County Animal Shelter is hosting its annual Animal Festival and Rabies Clinic on June 16.

Starting at 10 a.m., guests can interact with vendors and rescue groups, and participate in activities, according to a news release.

The shelter will offer $8 rabies vaccinations for the first two hours of the event, the release states. Pet adoption ($65) and micro-chipping ($25) services are available until 3 p.m. Adoption fees cover a pet of your choice, a veterinary examination, vaccinations, a microchip and an annual license.

Cash and checks are the only forms of payment accepted at the festival.
