Man Robbed at Knifepoint in West Liberty

A Pylesville resident is being held in the Baltimore County Detention Center, according to Maryland court records.

A 21-year-old resident of Delta, PA was robbed at knifepoint Sunday.

William Clyde Hensley Jr., 25, of the 1700 block of Scott Road in Pylesville, was charged with armed robbery in the incident.

Between 1 p.m. and 1:30 p.m., the Delta resident was driving Hensley to an unknown place where Hensley wanted to go, according to a report by Baltimore County police.

Hensley allegedly told his acquaintance to pull over at Old York Road and West Liberty Road. There, he "displayed a steak knife" and stole cash.

Hensley's charges also include second-degree assault, robbery, theft of less than $1,000 and making a false statement to officers, according to court records.

He is being held in the Baltimore County Detention Center on $75,000 bail, records state.
