Police Discover Dead Body in Phoenix
A resident alerted officers to the body on Monday morning.
A man was found dead with a gun shot wound on Poplar Hill Road in Phoenix on Monday.
At around 7:50 a.m. that day, a resident called police and reported seeing the body, near the intersection of Merrymans Mill Road, said Cathy Batton, a Baltimore County Police spokeswoman. Police officers recovered a gun near the scene.
The police are awaiting the results of an autopsy to determine the cause of death.
