SHA Begins $200,000 Repair of I-83 North County
Crews are patching up pavement on approaches to bridge along northbound and southbound I-83.

Those commuting on Interstate-83 in Northern Baltimore County can expect to see some delays.
Last week, the State Highway Administration started a $200,000 project to patch up pavement on approaches to bridges along northbound and southbound I-83, according to a news release. The work is scheduled for completion, weather-permitting, by Memorial Day.
The repairs will take place between Interstate-695 and Shawan Road and between the Shawan Road Exit and the bridge carrying I-83 over Quaker Bottom Road, the release states.

Crews will work during the night on the I-695 repairs and commuters can expect single lane closures at any time on Sunday through Thursday, between 7 p.m. and 5 a.m., according to the release. The Quaker Bottom Road repairs will occur during the daytime, and single lane closures may happen between 9 a.m. and 3 p.m., Monday through Friday.
