GEORGETOWN, DC — A Hyattsville man accused of <a href="https://patch.com/district-columbia/georgetown/1-dead-georgetown-double-shooting" target="_blank">gunning down</a> a 19-year-old in a double shooting in the Georgetown neighborhood of Washington, D.C. has been arrested, police said. Police arrested Demarius Anton Jackson, 24, of Hyattsville for the death of Kennedy Javier Amaya-Olivares, 19, of Severn.The Metropolitan Police Department says the shooting occurred in the 3500 block of Water Street, NW, near the Key Bridge at about 2:51 a.m. July 8. A Hyattsville man accused of murdering a man in a double shooting in the Georgetown neighborhood of Washington, D.C. has been arrested.
