No Threats to Prince George's in Wake of bin Laden's Death

The county's Office of Homeland Security urges caution and alertness.

Brian Moe, director of the Prince George’s County Office of Homeland Security, said this morning that there were no credible threats of attack being reported to the county in wake of the death of Osama bin Laden.

The county's Office of Homeland Security is working with Maryland Emergency Management Agency (MEMA), the Maryland Coordination and Analysis Center (MCAC), and the Maryland State Police, along with federal homeland security partners to review current security measures.

The county OHS advised the public to be vigilant and report any suspicious activity to MCAC’s "See something, Say Something” hotline at 1-800-492-TIPS. PGOHS also urges residents to prepare a supply kit and develop a family communications plan that could be used in the event of a natural or man-made emergency.
