• No heat all winter: Hyattsville condo community braces for worst in 'unfit' buildings (wjla.com) — Hundreds of residents at The Marylander condos in Hyattsville are facing the entire winter without central heat after vandalism destroyed the complex’s boiler system and county officials deemed several buildings unfit for habitation. Many are relying on space heaters that overload old wiring, while still being asked to pay condo fees and future repair costs as they await answers from county agencies and management.
