Update: Police Unsure if Body Found in Laurel is Missing Diabetic

County police are asking the public to help locate a man who has been missing for nearly a month.

Update, May 20: According to the Gazette, Prince George's County Police are working to determine if a body found Sunday in Laurel is that of 28-year-old Ali Osman Khadar, a Brentwood man who has been missing for nearly a month.

Police found the body of an unidentified male at the 13200 block of Mid-Atlantic Boulevard in Laurel, near the Dinosaur Park, the Gazette reports.

He was last seen April 26 about noon in the 3700 block of 38th Avenue in Cottage City and has not been seen or heard from since. Khadar may be traveling to Pennsylvania in a 1999 maroon Ford Escort with Maryland tag 9MD6697.

Khadar is a black male with a dark complexion and black hair. He is about 5’9” tall and weighs about 160 pounds. He was last seen wearing blue jeans with designs on the back pockets, a t-shirt and shoes. Khadar suffers from diabetes and is in need of his medication.

Anyone with information on the whereabouts of Khadar is asked to call the Prince George's County Police Department’s District I Investigative Section at (301) 699-2601.
