Takoma Park Police arrested three Hyattsville youth Jan. 3 for first-degree burglary, third-degree burglary, rogue and vagabond, trespassing, truancy and conspiracy to commit first- and third-degree burglaries. Two of the male juveniles were also charged with making false statements to a police officer after police responded to the 7100 block of 13th Avenue for reports of males roaming the backyard and banging on the door to the house, Takoma Park Police Chief Ron Ricucci said.
