Boil Alert in Parts of Prince Georges County
After a water main break early Monday morning, a boil alert has been issued for parts of Prince George's County.

The Washington Suburban Sanitary Commission has issued a boil alert for parts of Prince George's County after a water main break early Monday morning.
The boil alert has been issued for those living south of Central Avenue and Route 202 or Landover Road.
Those affected should boil water for one minute before using it for cooking, cleaning dishes or brushing teeth until the ban is lifted. Water for pets should also be boiled, then cooled before serving them.

The 54-inch water main break at the 9200 block of East Hampton Drive in Capitol Heights happened at 3:50 a.m. Monday morning affecting about 400,000 WSSC customers.
