Culinary Walking Tour of Downtown Columbia Set for October 22
Celebrate Walktober by getting in your steps and enjoying special food items and drinks at 8 local restaurants along the way
The Downtown Columbia Partnership is hosting the 2nd Annual Culinary Walking Tour of Downtown Columbia on Sunday, Oct. 22, from 2 to 5:30 p.m.
Walkers who purchase a Nibbles ticket (for all ages) or Nibbles & Drink Pairings ticket (for those 21 and over) will be offered samples of special items from The Charmery, Chicken + Whiskey, Clove & Cardamom, Cured, The Collective Offshore, The 3rd, Seasons 52, and The Walrus Oyster & Ale House.
Walkers will start at either The 3rd at the Lakefront or Seasons 52 at The Mall in Columbia. Depending upon which of two routes you take from restaurant to restaurant, the walking distance ranges from 2.5-3.2 miles and could entail an hour or more of walking time. People who want to bicycle to the event will park at One Merriweather office building, 10960 Grantchester Way, and start the culinary tour from there.

The cost of Nibbles tickets is $15, and the cost of Nibbles & Drink Pairings is $30, if purchased by Oct. 13. Tickets purchased Oct. 14-20 are $25 and $35, while last minute tickets bought on Oct. 21 are $35 and $45. Purchase tickets here.
