Downtown Columbia Partnership Hosts Culinary Walking Tour October 16

Six restaurants will provide special food and drink pairings during the walkable of development activity and new and favorite places to dine

Downtown Columbia Partnership will host its 2nd Annual Culinary Walking Tour of Downtown Columbia on Sunday, Oct. 16, 1-5 p.m. The event includes opportunities to explore both new development and a variety of places to sample food and drinks. Participating restaurants include The Charmery, Chicken + Whiskey, Cured, Maggiano’s Little Italy, Po Boy Jim Bar & Grill, Seasons52, and The 3rd.

Tickets are available for $15 at the Nibbles level for all ages and $25 at the Nibbles & Drink Pairings level for those 21 and older. Participants check in at Cured, 10960 Grantchester Way, or Seasons52 at The Mall in Columbia to get their Walkabout Card and embark on one of the two routes to tour the featured restaurants. Depending on the selected route, the total distance covered will be 2.5-3.2 miles and could entail an hour or more of walking time.

The Downtown Columbia Partnership was established to market and promote Downtown Columbia and its businesses, implement beautification projects, sponsor cultural arts programs, support transportation and safety initiatives and other activities that enhance the live, work, play environment envisioned for Downtown Columbia in the Downtown Columbia Plan, unanimously adopted by the Howard County Council in 2010.
