Experience Civil War History Saturday at Post 60

Drop by for a Civil War encampment, a military drill, a firing demonstration, and more.

This Saturday, April 13, drop by American Legion Post 60 to experience a small taste of the Civil War through Laurel Station: A Living History Program.

The event will feature a recreation of a Civil War encampment, a military drill, a firing demonstration, and more.

Members of the 2nd Maryland Infantry and 28th Massachusetts—two units committed to accurate reenactments of Civil War history—will be on hand to lead the day's activities.

Saturday's program is free and runs from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. It's organized by the Laurel Historical Society and sponsored by Post 60 and Maryland Milestones/ATHA.
