The sessions, led by master teachers, will introduce the incoming teachers to the county school system’s curriculum, resources, and routines so they are ready for the first day of school August 19.

Today, a welcoming ceremony for the new teachers was hosted by Wise High School. At the event, teachers could meet Carolyn Boston, vice-chair of the Board of Education, Chief Executive Officer Kevin Maxwell and other school system leaders.
