Partnership Hosts Spring BikeAround Downtown Columbia May 14-15

Bike ride begins and ends at Color Burst Park in Merriweather District and includes Columbia Lakefront and Village of Oakland Mills

It is Spring and time to hop on your bike and enjoy the beautiful trails and pathways of Columbia. The Third Annual BikeAround Downtown Columbia is set for May 14-15, with a Block Party on Saturday, from 9 a.m.- noon, at Color Burst Park. Participants can ride the course to or from the Block Party.

There is no group start time for BikeAround. The course will be open and marked from Saturday at 9 a.m. until Sunday at 6 p.m. It begins at Color Burst Park in Downtown Columbia, continues around Lake Kittamaqundi and over to Oakland Mills and Blandair Park, then circles back and joins the multi-use parkway to return to Color Burst.

The Downtown Columbia Partnership, the Howard County Office of Transportation and Columbia Association will be on hand to help you make cycling a bigger part of your transportation, fitness, and recreation routine. See more here.
