Vantage Point Presents Joy Loverde on Solo Aging and Eldercare

Popular author leads two separate sessions on aging: one for older adults living alone and one for adult children and other caregivers

Residences at Vantage Point will present Joy Loverde, author of “Who Will Take Care of Me When I’m Old” and the bestselling “The Complete Eldercare Planner,” on Wednesday, June 8. Loverde will lead two sessions. At 10 a.m., she will speak with older adults about “solo aging” and what is important to plan in advance. That evening at 6, she will talk with adult children and caregivers about “Helping Your Parents Even When They Refuse Help.”

Loverde’s evening session will include separate entertainment for older adults while their children and other caregivers are discussing eldercare.

With over 30 years experience as a media spokesperson, Loverde’s appearances include the TODAY Show, Good Morning America, CBS Early Show, ABC News, Fox News, National Public Radio, SiriusXM, and others.

Residences at Vantage Point is home to over 250 residents, all of whom are fully vaccinated. It was founded in 1990 and is a nonprofit serving people age 60 and above. Managed by Life Care Services, the community includes a variety of residential living arrangements from studio to two-bedroom deluxe apartments.
