• Group pays off over $200,000 in school meal debts for Montgomery County, Md. students (wjla.com) — Families in Montgomery Village with children in Montgomery County Public Schools could see school meal debts wiped away thanks to a $230,000 donation from local company DARCARS. The gift, routed through MCPS’s Dine with Dignity program, erases two years of debt for students on free and reduced meals and significantly reduces the district’s overall meal debt burden.
   

• Man Allegedly Drove Accomplice to Commit Break-Ins at Multiple Waldorf Residences (smnewsnet.com) — A Montgomery Village resident has been charged in connection with a series of alleged break-ins targeting newly built homes in Waldorf, after investigators say he repeatedly drove another man to construction sites where electrical components were taken. Authorities from Charles and Montgomery counties coordinated surveillance that led to his arrest, and he is currently free on recognizance under conditions restricting his movements and associations.
