Baltimore Blast Hosts Military Appreciation Night
A portion of the proceeds to benefit The Baltimore Station's homeless veterans battling addiction
Baltimore’s professional soccer team, Baltimore Blast, will honor our country’s armed forces with military appreciation family night this Friday, Nov. 21at Royal Farms Arena. The team will wear camouflage jerseys during the game and military personnel will be honored on the field during opening ceremonies.
Military Appreciation Family Night will open with color guards presenting colors, followed by a special halftime show featuring drill and re-enactment teams. Those honored at the game include active military, veterans of foreign wars, American legions, ROTC and more. A portion of the proceeds will benefit The Baltimore Station, a therapeutic residential recovery program that helps homeless men – primarily veterans – bound by drug and alcohol addiction to break the cycle and become self-sufficient members of society.
