Baltimore's Under Armour Makes List of 'Top Attractors' for Job-Seekers
Internet and tech companies like Google, Apple, Facebook and Amazon led the list as well.

We already told you this week which Maryland companies make their employees the happiest--now we're here to tell you about the top companies that it seems all job-seekers are salivating over.
LinkedIn this week released its list of "Top Attractors," and one of the companies to break the top 20 was Baltimore-based Under Armour.
When they say "Top Attractor," they mean a company that seems to be a beacon for job-seekers; a company it seems everyone wants to land a job at, said LinkedIn.

To put it simply, LinkedIn called the 40 list-makers "the best in the U.S. at attracting and keeping top talent," according to their user data.
LinkedIn representatives said they analyzed user actions on the site and compiled the list by determining which employers are the most sought-after.

The company reportedly tracked job applications being filled out, and how many times a company was engaged with, by applicants contacting them or by their number of followers significantly growing over a period of time.
A company also earned extra points for employees that had been at the company for a long time.
Under Armour (UA) has a growing employee base of 14,000, and profits have been soaring lately. The maker of stylish athletic wear posted earnings of nearly $4 billion in 2015, and expects to nearly double that this year.
UA boasts an endless list of die-hard celebrity fans, and has even designed uniforms for the U.S. Olympic team.
Case in point--record-breaking, gold medal-winning swimmer Michael Phelps' new ad campaign for Under Armour.
Most recently, the University of Maryland extended its contract to have the company exclusively make the mighty Terrapins' uniforms for the next decade.
UA founder Kevin Plank, who started the company out of his Georgetown basement at the young age of 23, also made Forbes Magazine's list of the planet's billionaires, along with seven other Marylanders.
