The kids and I struggled, but we made it through with some savings and some help from others. It was time for a change. ● I became an independent agent. (UPDATED 10:17 p.m.)—A two-alarm fire has destroyed a commercial building that housed Sisson Street Automotive and the Open Space Gallery at 2720 Sisson St. At about 8:30 p.m., Wednesday firefighters were still batting the blaze. The exit from Interstate 83 to 28th Street, headed east toward Remington and Charles Village, was closed because of the fire.   Stay with Patch for updates.

(UPDATED 10:17 p.m.)—A two-alarm fire has destroyed a commercial building that housed Sisson Street Automotive and the Open Space Gallery at 2720 Sisson St.

At about 8:30 p.m., Wednesday firefighters were still batting the blaze. The exit from Interstate 83 to 28th Street, headed east toward Remington and Charles Village, was closed because of the fire.

The building is reportedly in the 2700 block of Sisson Street.
