Attorney General To Lecture On Internet Safety

Maryland Attorney General Doug Gansler will meet with members of the community at 7 p.m. at Winston Churchill High School in Potomac to talk about internet safety, particularly for children and teens.

Parents and students alike will get a crash course on safely navigating Facebook and how to avoid becoming targets of predators, identity thieves and hackers.

A representative from Facebook will give a brief presentation on how users can best utilize its privacy features, followed by a question-and-answer period that will include discussion of broader Internet privacy issues.
