Child On Skateboard Struck By Car Outside Elementary School

NORTH POTOMAC, MD — A juvenile riding a skateboard was hit by a car at an elementary school in North Potomac Monday evening, officials said.

The accident occurred outside of Stone Mill Elementary school in the 14300 block of Stone Bridge View Dr., spokesperson Pete Piringer reported shortly before 6 p.m.

The juvenile was pinned by the car and was reportedly freed by bystanders before EMS arrived.
