The Montgomery County Police Collision Reconstruction Unit (CRU) is asking for the public’s assistance in identifying a vehicle involved in a fatal hit and run collision, which occurred on Monday, January 17, 2022, at the intersection of Veirs Mill Rd. and Ferrara Ave. The victim was identified as 59-year-old Luz Marina Roa.
The suspect’s vehicle is described as a light blue 2012-2015 Volkswagen Passat.
The victim’s family will also address the media.
Anyone with information regarding the suspect or this crime is asked to call the Collision Reconstruction Unit at 240-773-6620 or 240-773-TIPS (8477), or contact Crime Solvers of Montgomery County toll-free at 1-866-411-TIPS (8477). A reward of up to $2,500 is being offered for information that leads to the arrest of the suspects. Callers can remain anonymous.
