It was wet and windy at Stone Mill Elementary School in North Potomac shortly before 10 a.m. Tuesday.
Early morning storms had softened to a light drizzle but wind was still persistant. More heavy rain is expected throughout the day.
The National Weather Service issued a warning Tuesday morning for thunderstorms and possible tornadoes in Montgomery County between noon and 6 p.m.
