Water Main Break Closes Darnestown Elementary

Darnestown Elementary School is closing Friday effective immediately due to a water main break at the school, according to a Montgomery County Public Schools tweet.

"Parents should pick up their children at school," the tweet says.

No school buses will be routed back to Darnestown Elementary to take children home, MCPS spokesperson Dana Tofig told Patch. 

"Staff will stay at the school until every child is picked up," he said.
