3 Teens Among 4 Charged In Severn Shooting, Police Say
The shooting happened on July 7 in the 8100 block of Meade Village Road in Severn. Charges were just announced Thursday.

SEVERN, MD — Three teenagers are among four people charged in connection with a July shooting in Severn, according to police.
On July 7, around 4:20 p.m., Anne Arundel County police officers responded to the 8100 block of Meade Village Road in Severn after receiving a destruction of property complaint. When officers arrived, they discovered several homes in the 8100 block of Meade Village Road and the 1600 block of Meade Village Circle had been struck by gunfire.
Following an investigation, police identified four suspects involved in the shooting. Search warrants were obtained and executed at two homes on Sept. 23. During the searches, multiple handguns, ammunition, and drugs were located and recovered.

According to police, one juvenile suspect was located and taken into custody without incident, and a second juvenile suspect was cited for various drug offenses with additional charges pending. A third juvenile suspect was determined to already be in custody for a June shooting in Hanover. A fourth suspect was identified and located during a search warrant on Sept. 26 at a residence in Hanover.

- Darren Raul Donastorg, 25, Brooklyn
- 15-year-old male from Severen (charged as an adult)
- 15-year-old male from Severn (controlled dangerous substance violation)
- 15-year-old male (already in custody)
