Arundel Grad Tapley Shines at Salisbury

Former Arundel volleyball standout Ashlyn Tapley is named Capital Athletic Conference Player of the Week.

The Arundel High volleyball team is staking a claim as one of the best in the state, but one of its past stars is still making a name for herself.

Ashlyn Tapley is a freshman at Salisbury University, and has emerged as a top player at the collegiate level.

Salisbury's athletic department website reports that Tapley earned Player of the Week honors in the Capital Athletic Conference after helping the team to four wins last week. The Seahawks won the Salisbury University Invitational, where Tapley was named Most Valuable Player.
