Bear's Honeypot Staying Local After All

Bear's Honeypot is staying in the Odenton area. 

After exploring a move to Severna Park, store owner Barret Lang said he's nearing a deal to lease space at a location not far from his current shop on Odenton Road. 

Lang declined to reveal for the record specifically where he's moving, as the details are not yet finalized. But he confirmed that he will remain in the Odenton/Gambrills area. 

Bear's Honeypot opened last summer in the Stone Circle Associates building on Odenton Road, near the traffic circle. 

Earlier this month, Lang said he was looking to move into a spot on Ritchie Highway in Severna Park, citing its larger space and greater visibility. He said he changed his mind after terms of the potential lease were not to his liking. 

Lang said he was pleased that the new location would allow him to continue to serve customers in Odenton. 

"I didn't want our customers in Odenton to feel like they were left out in the cold," he said.
