Car Stolen, Victim Assaulted In Glen Burnie: Police

A man's car was stolen in Glen Burnie, police said. The victim reported being punched by suspects armed with a screwdriver and a knife.

GLEN BURNIE, MD — A man's car was stolen after he was assaulted by two armed suspects this weekend in Glen Burnie, police said.

Officers said they were called Friday around 4:30 p.m.

The victim told authorities he was driving his Toyota Camry on Aquahart Road near Phylen Court when a vehicle stopped in front of him.

The victim reported that two unknown male suspects exited their vehicle and approached his car with a screwdriver and a knife, police said.

Officers said the victim got out of his car and ran, but the suspects chased him, punched him and stole his wallet and money.

Authorities said the suspect vehicle fled, and the victim noticed his car was gone.

The Anne Arundel County Police Department is still investigating.
