Watch: Casino Tables Arrive at Maryland Live!

Workers put in place 122 tables, which will go into operation on April 11.

The Maryland Live! casino on Wednesday accepted delivery of 122 tables to be used for live gambling next month at the casino.

The tables came in on tractor trailers from Las Vegas, and were delicately unloaded and moved to designated areas on the casino floor.

On April 11, the tables will be put to use, as Maryland Live! will officially introduce live table games.

The table games will include Blackjack, Craps, Roulette, Mini-Baccarat, Pai Gow, Three-Card Poker, Four-Card Poker, Mississippi Stud and Big Six. All of the games will be manned by live dealers, who were trained at a 12-week dealer school held at Marley Station Mall. Casino officials said all of the roughly 800 people who completed the school have been offered jobs.

The casino removed about 10 percent of its slot machines to accommodate the tables. There are still 4,332 slot machines at the casino.

Later this year, Maryland Live! will also open a two-story poker room with 50 additional tables.
