County Exec Lauds New Hanover Business
Enlighten IT formally opened new offices on Ridge Road.

County Executive Laura Neuman and other political and business leaders highlighted the opening of a tech firm in Hanover on Monday as part of a kickoff to Small Business Week.
Neuman took part in a ribbon-cutting ceremony for Enlighten IT Consulting, a cloud/IT services company for the defense and government sector. It recently opened new offices on Ridge Road in Hanover, after employees worked primarily from home. The company now has 23 employees and has doubled in size this year, according to the county.

“We’re proud to welcome Enlighten IT Consulting to Anne Arundel County and look forward to seeing them grow and take advantage of the vast resources and talented workforce in our county,” Neuman said in a press release. “We appreciate their investment in an area that is quickly being recognized nationally and around the world as the heart of the cyber security industry.”
Neuman was accompanied by Del. Pam Beidle (D-District 32) and Anne Arundel County Council member Pete Smith (D-District 1.)
