District 4 Council Hopefuls Hold Events This Week

Democratic candidates Andrew Pruski and Scott Hymes will hold events in west Anne Arundel County as they gear up for the 2014 election.

Two Democrats seeking the District 4 seat on the Anne Arundel County Council will be holding campaign events this week.

Andrew Pruski, a school board member from Gambrills, will hold one of his first fundraisers Tuesday at the Hops n' Vines store in Piney Orchard. The event will go from 7-9 p.m. and will feature a wine tasting plus food from J. King's and Perry's. If you want to attend, RSVP by emailing votepruski@gmail.com.

Scott Hymes, a Crownsville resident and environmental program manager for the state, will hold his kickoff fundraiser event on Wednesday at J. King's Restaurant in Gambrills. It will go from 5:30-7:30 p.m.

Both men are seeking to fill the District 4 seat to be vacated by council member Jamie Benoit.
