Do You Remember the RFK Funeral Train?

Forty-five years ago, a train carrying the body of Robert Kennedy traveled down the east coast. Do you recall it passing through Odenton?

It was 45 years ago when Americans mourned the untimely death of Robert F. Kennedy, the senator and brother of the former president.

The Washington Post reported Friday on the decision to move RFK's body via train down the East Coast, with citizens coming out to pay respects along the way.

Presumably, this meant the train could have passed through the Odenton train station on the evening of June 8, 1968.
