Dollar General Proposed for Waugh Chapel Road

Dollar General will present early plans next months for a new store adjacent to the Village at Waugh Chapel. 

Planners from Anne Arundel County have announced a public meeting on July 8 to get a first look at the preliminary plan, which calls for a 9,140 square foot store on the north side of Waugh Chapel Road. 

If approved, the Dollar General would be the first in the west portion of Anne Arundel County. There are four stores in Glen Burnie and two in Pasadena.

Competitor Dollar Tree operates a store in Odenton. 

The public meeting will be held July 8 at 6:30 p.m. at the Emmanuel Baptist Church in Gambrills.
