Fort Meade Going Country

The installation will hold a special country with a mechanical bull, line dancing and a whiskey bar.

Fort Meade will host a special night of line dancing, bull riding and whiskey drinking on Friday. 

The "Fort Meade's Gone Country" event will run from 6-10 p.m. at the installation's conference center, and will be open to the public. 

Events include line dancing, mechanical bull riding, a bulls-eye contest and whiskey bar.

There is no cover charge, but the event is open only to those 18 and over. 

The event will be preceded by a country-themed Right Arm Night from 4-6 p.m.
