Power Mostly Restored in Odenton Area

BGE reported outages at each end of Dairy Farm Road. There were just a handful of remaining outages as of Thursday night.

Baltimore Gas & Electrict restored service to nearly all customers in the Odenton area on Thursday evening, following a fast-moving but powerful storm.

At least 200 homes in the Odenton area were without power Thursday afternoon, but only a handful remained dark as of midnight. 

BGE reported two significant outages affecting about 200 customers in Odenton and Gambrills, plus 50 customers without service off Clark Road in Severn.

One outage near Dairy Farm Road and Waugh Chapel Road affected a reported 88 customers, while BGE also reported 109 people without service in the area of Arundel High School. 

As of midnight, roughly 50 customers were without service, and BGE estimated restoration by 1 p.m. Friday.

There were more than 7,000 BGE customers without service in Anne Arundel County in the hour following the storm, but more than 3,000 of those had service restored before midnight.
