Local Lacrosse Players Picked for Under Armour Tourney

Players from Odenton and Crofton were selected to play in the Under Armour All-America Lacrosse underclass tournament next month. 

Grayson Torain, an Odenton resident and rising senior at Dematha Catholic High School, was picked to play for the Washington, DC-area team. 

Nicholas Ramsey of Crofton, also a rising senior at Dematha, was also selected. 

Both players have made verbal commitments to the U.S. Naval Academy for 2014. 

The Under Armour tournament will feature teams comprised of the best players in the Baltimore and Washington, DC area, as well as New England, New Jersey, Upstate New York, Long Island, Philadelphia and the south. 

It will take place July 5-7 at Towson University.
