Man Steals Elderly Woman's Purse At Walmart: Police

SEVERN, MD — A Glen Burnie man has been arrested for stealing a purse from an elderly woman in a Walmart parking lot in Severn this past September.

Jermaine Alphonso Holland, 45, was charged with robbery and served with three outstanding arrest warrants Monday night, police said.

Holland is accused of grabbing the woman's purse and fleeing from the Walmart at 407 George Class Blvd. Sept. 28. The woman sustained bruising to her arm as a result of the incident, police said.

Officers arrested Holland in the Glen Burnie area.
