Meade High Stabbing Arrests Announced, 2 Students Charged: Police
Two Meade High students were arrested after a school stabbing, police said. The suspects, 14 and 18, were charged with attempted murder.

FORT MEADE, MD — Two students were arrested after Thursday's stabbing at Meade High School, police announced Friday.
Officers identified the arrestees as 18-year-old JaQuan Ky'lee Guy and an undisclosed 14-year-old male. Both teens live on Fort Meade and attend Meade High, a press release said.
Authorities said the 17-year-old male victim, also a student at Meade High, was stabbed multiple times in a second-floor school bathroom around 10:09 a.m. Thursday.

Police said the victim was taken to the University of Maryland R Adams Cowley Shock Trauma Center in Baltimore. He was conscious and alert and listed in stable but serious condition as of Thursday afternoon.
The school went on lockdown for five hours while detectives said they interviewed witnesses and collected evidence that pointed to the two suspects.

Students dismissed safely at 3:18 p.m.
Detectives said they "determined the suspects were at a location on the campus of Fort George G. Meade."
The Anne Arundel County Police Department Fugitive Apprehension Team said it worked with the Department of Army Criminal Investigation Division to catch the suspects.
Officers said they found both suspects "at their residence on base" Thursday evening.
Authorities said Guy faces charges of:
- Attempted first-degree murder
- Attempted second-degree murder
- First-degree assault
- Second-degree assault
- School-related charges
Police said the 14-year-old, whose name they are concealing because he's a minor, was charged with:
- Attempted first-degree murder
- Attempted second-degree murder
- Conspiracy to commit first-degree murder
- First-degree assault
- Second-degree assault
- School-related charges
