Odenton Resident Attends Meeting With 35 Nobel Laureates

Brian Brown, a UMBC graduate, will take part in discussions about the creation of "green" energy.

An Odenton resident and UMBC graduate is in Germany this week for a special meeting involving 35 Nobel laureates. 

Brian Brown will take part in the 63rd Annual Lindau Nobel Laureate Meeting featuring more than 600 researchers from around the world, according to a news release from UMBC. 

Brown was a biochemistry and molecular biology major at UMBC. He plans to pursue a graduate degree at New York University's School of Medicine this fall. 

While in Germany, Brown will take part in discussions surrounding the creation of environmentally friendly energy.
