A bar shooting in Odenton hospitalized a man, police said. Witnesses wrestled the gun from the suspect, but he still got away.

ODENTON, MD — An Odenton bar shooting hospitalized a man this weekend, county police said.
Officers said the shooting happened Sunday around 1:45 a.m. at My Place Bar & Lounge, located at 1676 Annapolis Road.
Witnesses reported that the victim and the suspect got into an argument inside the bar, a press release said.

Authorities said the suspect then pulled out a handgun and fired it several times, hitting the victim.
Police said witnesses wrestled the gun away from the suspect, who then ran from the bar.

Officers said they found the victim in the parking lot with gunshot wounds to his upper body, but they are still looking for the suspect.
Authorities described the suspect as a black male with short dreadlock hair who is about 5 feet, 6 inches tall and weighs 150 to 160 pounds.
