Woman Fatally Shot In Odenton: Police
A woman was fatally shot in Odenton, police said. Detectives are still investigating.

ODENTON, MD — A woman was fatally shot Monday morning in Odenton, police told Patch.
Officers have not identified the victim or any suspects.

Authorities said the shooting happened in the 1800 block of Bucklina Avenue. That's located just off Telegraph Road near the police station. A few homes, a school bus lot and an office park are located near the shooting scene.
"Detectives are still investigating," Sgt. Chris Anderson told Patch in a Monday afternoon email. "No perceived threat to the public. Evidence suggests that it was a targeted incident."

Officers announced the news on X, formerly Twitter, at 10:35 a.m. and asked drivers to avoid the area.
