Odenton Teens Charged in Severn Burglary

Anne Arundel County police said two teens from Odenton were among those who broke into a Severn home and stole some electronics.

Three local teenagers, including two from Odenton, were arrested Monday morning after police said they broke into a home on Christiana Court in Severn and stole three laptop computers and a PlayStation game console.

Anne Arundel County Police said officers responded to an alarm at a house on the 1900 block of Christiana Court and saw there had been a forced entry. Police then used a K-9 unit to search for the suspects since the burglars had already fled the scene.

During the search, police said they found three teenage boys on bicycles in the nearby area of Ridge Road. One of them was detained by police while two others fled. Police caught the other two teens later in the Provinces neighborhood, according to the release.

All three teenagers were charged with first-degree burglary on juvenile citations and then released to their parents, according to police.

The teenagers were identified as a 14-year-old and a 16-year-old from Odenton, and a 14-year-old from Severn.
