Po' Boy Restaurant Eyes Fall Opening

A new New Orleans-themed eatery has received permits to build and could be open by the fall in Odenton, a local retail broker said.

The Po' Boy Shop and Cafe D'Orleans has been finalizing plans for its spot at the Village at Odenton Station and would occupy about 3,600 square feet, serving as a key tenant at the new center.

"I think they will be begin any day—and open in the fall, realistically,"said Patricia Palumbo, the Director of Leasing & Marketing for Metropolitan Management Company, which has worked to land retail leases at several properties in Odenton.

Palumbo said she hopes to announce some other leases at the center in the near future, as well as at Meade Center, another proposed mixed-used project on Annapolis Road.
